EIGHTH MARCH EXHIBITION: ''HOW CAN WE SPEAK OF GENDER EQUALITY?''
''Capitalism grows, lasts and survives because of gender roles, and discrimination against women is already seen during job interviews by asking her if she plans to have children anytime soon'' was one of the statements in an open classroom, held on 5 March 2020 in the Third Gymnasium in Sarajevo, in partnership with the Second Gymnasium. The open classroom was entitled ''How Can We Speak of Gender Equality?'' and moderated by Sedžida Hadžić and Elmana Cerić.
With the help of the P4C methodology, and with the students of their schools, they held a critical enquiry of this topic after seeing the exhibition under the same name. At the end of the session, it was concluded that, although a small shift has taken place in Sarajevo, there are still major problems caused by the gender division in smaller and rural areas and would hardly be eradicated in the near future.
